What's new in our life? Well, quite honestly, not a whole lot. Since I last updated this site 2-3 years ago, our church problems seemed to have been resolved by our joining Rogersville Baptist Temple. We have a great pastor, loving congregants, and I'm really glad that we're there. This has been a true answer to prayer, one that was extremely lacking when we were at Halls Baptist Church and at Emmanuel Baptist Church. I am glad to finally have a pastor that I can call "my pastor" and "my friend". That means a lot. I could say more, but I won't. There's no need. Of my 3 church experiences since moving to Tennessee, Rogersville Baptist Temple is the only one I would recommend to you, friend or enemy.
We moved to Washburn in 2003, so that's not really "new" any longer. We did recently get the deed to our home, free and clear, so that's new. It's ours, and nobody can take it away from us. We aren't worrying each month how we're going to pay the mortgage because there is no mortgage. I recently read where home equity is at the lowest point since 1945. Not here, baby. We're 100% equity!!!
And, that, my friend, is it. There's nothing else new that I can think of. Nothing at all. Keep me and my family in your prayers as we struggle through this maze called "Life". It is my prayer that God remain with each of you as you endure life's trials and troubles, and that when that appointed day happens, we will meet one another in the air.
